@LAMapNerd @DJSnM For a further metaphor, earth currently makes up around 1/43rd of the zone. There is a 100% chance the asteroid will be in 1 of 43 sections in 2032; however earth is only in 1 of the 43 possible sections as of right now hence a 1/43 chance of impact.

@LAMapNerd @DJSnM The path of the meteor is guaranteed to be within 100,000 miles of the earth. Knowing that we can cast a likely impact corridor, consider the fact the meteor is the size of a football field and even in this map the red area encompasses hundreds of not thousands of miles.

@RealCheckMarker @outbreakupdates Here is the article regarding the small amount of mutations needed to drastically enhance human cell specificity and binding. Not sure if I included it in the citations prior.

Those millions of dollars went to a government program to train scientists, and that program gave a small educational grant to a researcher who happened to write the paper. The final publication gave credit to the funding and MSM put the paper on blast as if it used the entire budget, in all reality the treadmills were built from scraps and the next generation of them cost $1000 (there were only less than a dozen). Most of the funds were used to train future scientists, I assume you eat shrimp right? The study was on how to more CHEAPLY farm shrimp and on what water conditions/contamination they can tolerate.

@andadarth @volcaholic1 Per this article the quakes are NOT linked to any volcano; that being said they are highly anomalous and may be foreshocks.

@andadarth @volcaholic1 Santorini is a dangerous place to be when it comes to seismic activity. Currently looking for any data on intrusions.
