Happy First Day of Phillies Spring Training to those who celebrate!! Our 11th winter event of the 2024-25 winter season is in the books bringing our seasonal total to 18.9" this is only 3.8" below our normal snow through today of 22.7". Our next brief winter event arrives quickly on its heels by this evening. Some flurries may be around during the day, but steadier snow looks likely to arrive again this evening but will change to sleet and then freezing rain before a change to all rain later tonight. Temperatures will struggle to get above freezing until 11pm tonight especially in the higher spots. We should have our best day of the week on Friday before more snow quickly changing to what could be our heaviest rain event in quite a while for Saturday into Sunday. We once again turn much colder to well below average temperatures to start the new work week.

Go Birds! Our active winter season continues!! With our 10th winter event in the books with last night's 0.5" of sleet and ZR bringing our seasonal snow/sleet to date to 15.6" which is 78% of normal (19.9") through yesterday. It looks like winter events #11 and #12 and possibly 13 will be following this week with a few waves of snow, sleet, freezing rain and rain. Tomorrow looks like the best weather day of the week. Snow should arrive late on Tuesday afternoon and end after midnight. Snow should arrive again on Wednesday night before changing to sleet, freezing rain and then plain rain by Thursday morning. Sunny Friday for the Eagles Parade before more snow and rain arrives on Saturday afternoon.

@amarkowitzWX Well here in the western philly burbs that would be....except for the 17" of snow in February 2021 and last February's 10" storms....

@NEwinter_WX Nice effort. But I suspect much of what you have as snow will likely be sleet and then ZR.....that 3" to 5" zone in yellow will have a tough time even seeing 1 inch of snow to be honest with you. Good luck though!
