@TGoatherdess Agreed. After you win a battle, you win the war by understanding the opposition's tactics, and completely destroying their ability to ever use them again, while enforcing a better way. If you adopt their tactics, you become them, and they win.

The $4.5 trillion is the 10 year cost of continuing the current tax rates with some extras (so no change in tax rates for most of us) Plus they want to increase the debt limit by 4 trillion $1.5 trillion is all that they propose in mandatory spending cuts over 10 years....to be explained in a few weeks....
