I had a whole week off. I will have hundreds and hundreds (and hundreds) of emails tomorrow morning. I have walked and cooked and drank beer and done Yoga and gardened and I have not worked. It feels amazing. Bear with us as normal service resumes.

As we witness some NHS leaders getting carried away about the NHS finally getting digital and remote models of care, a stark reminder that answering the phone would be a good element to include in any care model.
There is no reply from the hospital. The phone just rings and rings and no one answers. I feel guilty for being that person who makes the ward phone ring relentlessly. But there is no reply.
