One of my students emailed me this morning and said that she wouldn't be able to make it to class because she didn't have anyone to watch her kid. I told her to bring the kid to class. It was a fun afternoon of teaching while holding a 1-yr-old so she could get her work done.

I ordered this poster from a book order in 1988. Every night I studied these helmets and tried to figure out how Atlanta and New Orleans were in the West, Phoenix was in the East, and Tampa was in the Central.

Legendary USF football coach Bob Young has died. He was 83. Young guided the Cougars to their first national championship and is the namesake of their home stadium. An icon in South Dakota sports and small college football.

One of my wife's schools had their Christmas party tonight and spouses were not welcome. Bush League stuff. Imagine if John McClane wasn't allowed to attend his wife's Christmas party. .

After yesterday's state dartball tournament I was looking through pictures and realized that I look a little bit different in 2019 than I did in 2014. A lot of hard work has taken place and I'm thankful for all of the support. And, yes, I still eat tacos every week.

That was a crazy day. Lucas was sick yesterday then had abdominal pain this morning so I took him to the doctor. Found out that he needed an appendectomy. He is one tough little dude and he is doing fine now, but gets to spend a few nights in the Castle.
