@FrankKhalidUK Or maybe we need to learn how to score more goals? Your attack has become so stale and pragmatic. If palmer doesn’t score, we don’t win, this is not a sustainable system.

You can dislike him but at the very least he’s always dangerous, never hides from the ball, always trying to make things happen. Cool he has his flaws, but when our wingers are THIS BAD, and we have Nkunku strolling around the pitch as a 9, there is no world in which loaning our second most creative forward wasnt a mistake.

Exactly my issue: ZERO adaptability. This downloaded pep system revolves around getting the wingers the ball to create. None of them can dribble at a high enough standard, and even if they succeed, there is no box presence to finish it. Two of the best overlapping right backs itl providing zero support to the wingers because Maresca is more scared about conceding on transitions than scoring goals. Shipped off our second most creative player on loan because we refuse to adapt, and ironically we look out of ideas creatively. Palmer looks miserably as he knows everything is on him to win the game. What a burden these SD’s and their puppet Maresca have created for him 🤦♂️ WORRYING TIMES.
I’m disappointed the SDs have put Maresca in this position. Nasty work. He’ll have to deal with adversity for the next few months, but it should make him a better coach if he responds right. Stick or twist. Adapt or die. Hopefully he’s learned from his late-slump at Leicester.

@CFCRBRLAL04 @NewsJeffJ1 Literally anyone else. I’ve seen slot adapt Diaz as a striker. Try Neto! At least someone who can press and stretch a defence in behind. The definition of insanity is trying the same thing over and over and expecting different results. By definition, Maresca has gone insane.

@OliviaBuzaglo No. Maresca has a lot of questions that need answering. I want to see him adapt to our squad, and stop using players in positions that simply do not help them. Try something different to the stale downloaded pep tactics. All of that is more important than winning 👍

@jesseogbomedah @pythaginboots He cares more about conceding on transitions than actually scoring goals. That’s why he refused to more than one 10 and never lets our fullbacks support our wingers. Funny thing is we rarely concede on transitions so he needs to relax.

Maresca, you fucked up here. Simple as that. People may dislike Felix, but at least he was always dangerous, never hides from the ball, always trying to make things happen. We got rid of the second most creative player at the club, whilst keeping Nkunku, a guy who strolls around the pitch contributing absolutely nothing 🤦♂️

@Blue_Footy People can hate on Felix all they want, but at the very least he was always a threat. Never hides from the ball, constantly trying to make things happen. Yet we end up keeping this NPC Nkunku, strolling around the pitch like it’s Sunday league 🤦♂️

We have two of the best overlapping right backs in the league. But please, cry about affecting our already shit defence more. You and Maresca truly share the same brain cell, too scared about conceding goals that you’ll let our attack become stale. Ever think if we focus more on making our attack more fluid, it may actually help defensively? Sometimes, the best form of defence is attack 👍
