@SuzieD755164 @AontuIE @codd_jim @PQuinlanNP This one. "It's not Aontú as a group, it's councillor Sheehan on his own."
At last nights meeting of Fingal County Council, I proposed a motion to compel Fingal County Council to release the figures relating to the number of foreign nationals currently on the local authority's social housing waiting list. A similar question asked by a Cllr from Fine Gael in 2011, when answered, found that 51% of the individuals on the housing list at the time were foreign nationals. A figure that has likely only risen after 14 more years of sustained mass immigration. Last nights motion was seconded by Aontú Cllr Gerard Sheehan, who stated that he was against the motion but wanted the issue discussed. The Labour Party Mayor reprimanded Aontú for "working with the far-right", Cllr Ellen Troy jumped in to throw Cllr Sheehan under the bus and declared that Cllr Sheehan's support of the motion being floored "wasn't Aontú", as you will see in the video that will follow. After pushing for a vote on my motion, the motion was defeated 28-1, with both Aontú Cllrs joining the government and leftist parties to prevent updated stats on numbers of foreign nationals on the housing list being released. The actions of Ellen Troy in Fingal County Council last night, as well as her willingness to throw her own party colleague under the bus when he dared to allow open discussion of the effects of mass immigration into Ireland, shows definitively that Troy and Aontú leadership are more than happy to be joined at the hip with the Irish regime. The 28-1 vote result should tell you all you need to know about who the real opposition in Ireland is. Join the National Party.

@SuzieD755164 @AontuIE @codd_jim @PQuinlanNP Can't remember their names, but yes. 1 agreed with Patrick initially, and the other member called him out for it, and when it came to vote, he changed his mind. We need politicians and citizens to have the ability to openly express themselves or we're finished.

I spent a lot of time in Enniscorthy and other parts of wexford over the years. It's one of the most beautiful parts of the country imo. But with this kind of representation, I don't know how much longer it'll be that way.
AONTÚ BURNS BRIDGES WITH CONCERNED PARENTS AFTER "VISIT FROM GARDAÍ" COMMENTS? Instead of squarely addressing parents concerns about an all male IPAS centre being placed next to a girl's school in Wexford, @AontuIE councillor @codd_jim Jim Codd spoke of the benefits that communities have seen in Wexford through welcoming migrants, but didn't give any examples of how hundreds of undocumented men with no traceable history and nothing to do all day will contribute in a county where vital tourism and jobs are dying because hotels are being repuporsed as institutionalised "living" settings. Some of the men can provide doctor or engineering services perhaps. In a spiel that had zero to do with the legitimate and urgent parental concerns being presented to him by worried parents who are threatening to pull their children from school, Codd said "It's a dangerous narrative that’s going out there, It gets very serious when you’re reading comments from people about setting fire to buildings. Perhaps those big brave boys at home on their computers need to be paid a visit by the gardaí" which may well not have been a veiled threat to anyone in the room, but it probably felt like one and sort of sounds like one in my personal view. Codd perhaps thinks our Gardaí should be policing tweets Starmer style rather than police mass stabbings and the like? It would seem so. He did not point to any evidence any of the parents had been involved in any such calls for arson, and so wasn't this an odd thing to say in the context of their concerns being raised, unless he thinks they have been engaging in such behaviour? He went on to say, "There’s also this narrative that migrants are somehow stopping homeless people getting accommodation,” he concluded. “And yet, the people who seem most concerned about this, I’ve never seen them doing anything to help our homeless population". He failed to provide proof of any concerned person's failure to help the homeless and he didn't explain why this would be even relevant. After all isn't it the job of Codd and other elected representatives to fix homelessness? In addition to the all male IPAS centre being placed next to a female school in enniscorthy in Wexford, there are four more IPAS centres (human trafficking plantation centres) which may see Rosslare's population DOUBLE and locals outnumbered by migrants (there's already at least two centres in the town, and a proposed nursing home was kisboshed in favour of...another asylum centre) which has forced elderly people who worked and paid taxes all their lives to be accommodated far outside the town. Pre IPAS the towns population was (in the 2022 census) 1,795. Then 600 people were added (300 in each centre). Four more centres could add 1,200 more (if we are to assume there will be 300 on each) bringing the population of IPAS applicants to 1,800.

@TezTruth81 That number should be 0%. There's no reason to import foreigners, definitely not if they're living on welfare.
