Bodies don't stay looking as if they were "still alive" 6-7 months later, even with cold temps. The Middle East's winter is Dec-March with average temps of 50F-60F (10-15C). Underground wouldn't reach negative temps needed for longer preservation. Even if they COULD, decomp sets
