@CatholicKingdo1 This is the norm for me in the East, however in the Latin Rite, I’m definitely for this but I think “Eucharistic Ministers” need to be done away with first. I’m not trying to watch Suzan from the parish council dripping the Precious Blood and acting like it’s no big deal

The irony is providing the “context” that she thinks makes her correct actually proves the Catholic case. The Father sent Christ with His authority, and so too does Christ send The Apostles with His authority. The scripture says "if YOU forgive the sins of any, they are forgiven. If YOU retain the sins of any, they are retained". This is clear and explicit language giving them authority to do so.

Okay, so your normal weasel answer to all things Christianity. “I don’t have a problem with this very normal, and explicitly Christian concept, but I’m going to tie it to white supremacists and then suggest the Christian concept is to be avoided in order to not be associated with the “woke right.” You’re an expert in Marxist tactics, James. I haven’t seen anything in this thread where he cites Jesus. Perhaps I’ve missed it, but all I’ve seen is him give opinions, not cite to actual scripture. I’m sorry you think people arguing over what is true leads you to conclude God is fake. He’s not. Wouldn’t God, if He was real, want you to care about and defend truth?
