None of these are at the heart of the crisis. They are symptoms.
A future pope could end the crisis in the Catholic Church by simply making three infallible decrees, ex cathedraā¦ 1. If anyone says that a woman can be ordained to the clerical state, let him be anathema. 2. If anyone says that sodomy is not sin, let him be anathema. 3. If anyone says that communism or Marxism can be reconciled with Christianity, let him be anathema. If these three ex cathedra decrees are ever made, the crisis in the Catholic Church would end overnight. The recalcitrant heretics would excommunicate themselves and leave the Church immediately. And all we would have left would be Catholics willing to learn the truth.
