100% true. American, but have been living in Northern Europe for over 20 years. I get 6 weeks PTO/year (normal salary, plus holiday pay), not including public holidays. I take a month off every summer, plus a week during winter and fall.

Fifth border crossing was closed today after russia started directing refugees there. Note, foot and vehicle traffic with russia has been closed for months at all 8 crossings. Refugees with valid papers were still allowed in, but now they are coming without papers.

We (NAFO) should remain focused on Ukraine. Adding other conflicts into the mix only makes it easier to divide and conquer from within. This only benefits russia. I support Israel but I do not go out of my way to push it. I am here for Ukraine.

Actually no, Finland hasnโt been โneutralโ in decades. We were โmilitarily non-alignedโ. Our military has been participating in many NATO and West-allied military exercises for a long time. Thatโs why itโs so easy to integrate with NATO, all the pieces have been in place.
