A lovely gesture by the Shamrock’s GAA Club.
A hurley, signed by all the players of the Shamrock’s team, was presented by their captain to Mark O’Brien (Capt - Carrig/Riverstown) in memory of Aidan King.
The Hurley was later presented to Aidan’s parents, Paul and Mary.

Our Under 20's can hold their heads high after a fierce battle in the U20 hurling final earlier today.
Every player on the panel deserves huge credit for their efforts today as they all dug in and gave it their all, it could have went either way today.

This morning we woke up to the sad news that our dear friend Dermot Sullivan had passed away.
Dermot was a community man, involved in much outside GAA but to us he was a massive part of our Club.
We extend our sympathies to the Sullivan Family at this sad time.
