@ScottKorir With good care,I don't think you will have any serious challenges with the 300Tdi.Unlike the problematic "Puma", the 300Tdi served well just like the 200Tdi before it (1989-1994).All that you need to know is that, the 5L bags the reliability prize when pitted against the 300Tdi.

@ScottKorir @Joshmenawe @Toyota Yes, it was the 5L with Electronic Fuel Injection(EFI, 5L-E). This engine also served the second generation @Toyota Fortuner (AN150). It was mated to R151F 5-speed manual gearbox.
