I’ve watched a lot of bad football being a @ChicagoBears fan for 45 years. This is the worst I’ve ever endured. I can’t take this team anymore.

@TimAkers My 15 year old son almost reads nothing new because it doesn’t interest him. He’s pulling from my library of old stuff instead.

I remember the first time I saw this performance and I thought this is one of the most insanely good solos I’ve ever seen…then he threw the guitar behind his back.
Stevie Ray Vaughan. The man we lost 34 years ago on this day in a terrible accident. He's one of the best guitar players and blues musicians in the world. Many guitar players admired his playing and in are influenced by him. His songs, his technique, and playing on that fretboard was just beyond everything. Throughout his life, he frequently mentioned that he was influenced by Jimi Hendrix, Albert King, and many others. Today marks the 34th anniversary of his death, let's remember the legendary guitarist SRV all together. Stevie Ray Vaughan performing a song he called 'Texas Flood' which was released within the same-titled album by his band SRV & Double Trouble in 1983. A man who was born in Texas made a song he called Texas Flood performing a killer version of it live at the El Mocambo. Don't say anything, just watch and remember him. #StevieRayVaughan #SRV

@TimAkers I’m hoping you’ll pick that story back up down the line through a different channel. Understand that you had to make a tough decision, but that was one of my more enjoyable reads recently.

Went to my first @writingdaywksp last weekend and got a ton out of it. Something really clicked for me while I was there and have already cut out 1,600 words from my first chapter.

Every time someone asks what band is the most underrated/ under appreciated, I can’t scream quick enough - Blind Melon! St. Andrew's Fall (Live on 2 Meter Sessions, 1993) via @YouTube
