Acceleration is great. Deceleration and quick direction changes are even better. Vertical tibia lunges train positioning for faster cuts, better stops, and efficient movement. If agility matters, position matters.

Skill vs Execution 🔹 Focus on skill early: Motor learning, technique, & efficiency. 🔹 Shift to execution: Load up & train once proficiency is there. 🔹 Some form breakdown is OK for hypertrophy/power—but too much? You’re just getting worse. Know when to refine and when to push.

I suspect RTP decisions would be much easier & fluid when there is an elite and documented training/rehab process throughout the entire year. That is where your best RTP tests will come from, & it is where real world imapcts (sleep, nutrition, psychology) are often accounted for.

You can’t just repeat the same message & expect a different result. Sometimes, it’s not about what you’re saying—it’s how you’re saying it. If they already know what to do but aren’t doing it, repeating the info won’t help. Adapt message. Change approach. That’s communication.
