@isaiah_p_taylor I think that’s a big part of the goal. I’d say I love it, but it feels like people are readying for hot war. That I do not like.

Pre-podcast, pre-socials, I learned pretty young that news media was super bad for my mental health. So I’d rely on real people in my life to relay things to me. The important stuff always made it through. Pods feel like that, like I’m having a conversation with a friend and that I can trust it. Of course the parasocial nature of pods and social feeds really hijacks this gate that I’ve left open, and I do notice lately I have to be much more vigilant in how I let those things worm into my mind.
