Not what you want from an essential public service provider
"Thames Water chairman accused of conflict of interest over £37m share dividend payment." WHO'S A NAUGHTY BOY THEN???!!! During his tenure Thames Water paid £195.8 million in dividends putting it in breach of its operating licence for which incompetent regulator @Ofwat fined them £18 million. Wanna guess how much of that £18m they've paid? Yep, none, nada, nothing, not a penny. Ho hum.

We need more planning officers, not less bats and newts! Our economy is dependent on healthy ecosystems. Our focus should be on sustainable development, not growth for growth's sake.
On behalf of newts and bats we shall fight them in the countryside , we shall fight them in the ponds and marshes , we shall fight in the belfry’s , we shall fight them in the caves . We will never surrender our wildlife . . . (Channeling my inner @JonathanPieNews !)

This city centre #brownfield site is a lost opportunity. We fully support the development of brownfield sites, but we need to create more homes in the city for the people who are already here. More offices and labs will just drive up commuter numbers.

🚨 Plans for the £274m Norwich Western Link road have been withdrawn, protecting one of Europe’s most significant Barbastelle bat colonies in the Wensum Valley. This is a big win for @CPRENorfolk who have campaigned tirelessly against the road.
