Improving the detection of CO is a key priority for the Trust. In 2015, we awarded a grant to St George’s, Epsom who carried out a patient study. The research aimed to reduce misdiagnosis so that patients could be treated appropriately Find out more:

Part of CORT's current strategy is to improve treatments. In 2020 CORT granted funding to UCL looking into treatment's that are aimed at restoring actual levels of O2 in the blood and to the organs post CO exposure. Find out more -
