Optic value packs - $16 for 12 cards - one is a rookie (two if lucky), might get a parallel or insert (probably a player that’s not worth anything). Are they a rip off? Yes! Did I see some at the store and buy them anyway? Yes! And did I get ripped off? Of course!

I picked 6 blasters at DSG out of about 20. Also pulled this sweet Jaime Jaquez Jr color & number match, 2 autos, and 3 Wemby inserts. Lot of fun with this one but wow that Wemby Genesis probably my best pull ever.

You know what’s awesome? Building up the amount in your eBay account, then spend an evening hunting cards for your PC and paying with your eBay funds (which were cards I didn’t want any more). Nothing out of my pocket and a lot of fun exciting cards heading my way!

And finally the ultra rare, case hit, zebra Rachaad White. Wish it was a rookie but can’t complain pulling this out of a $15 pack. Overall not my best rip, worse than the last time I got these, but I still love the Select brand and will probably buy more.

Yeah admittedly I don’t reprice before every show. A lot of them were done this week though and priced right at comps. I know people want to offer 80% or less so I tend to leave it at recent sale price. Some are a bit off though I’m sure.

Finally a restock! Select fat packs/Topps Composite blasters. Wasn’t going to buy unlicensed but this looks good and is a real fun rip. NFL w/o logos looks way better than NBA. Need a study session to learn everything! But did I buy a $300 fire? Spoiler: NOPE!!!

Ok well I had to throw one Chrome blaster in the cart with the groceries. Am I reading right that this is a negative refractor and is 1 per 249 packs? I guess getting that and a #’ed rookie auto isn’t too shabby. Cool looking cards but wish they were cheaper!

What would you do? Buyer sent an offer on eBay card for $455 about 8 hours before auction ended (last comp was $450). I waited for a bit then accepted, and 15 minutes later requested cancellation with message of “mistake”. It wasn’t a mistake you made an offer!

Opened some Optic football retail boxes and was disappointed to see that the last card in EVERY pack had the wax paper seal on the back peeling off. Anyone else seen this before? Anything I can do to replace?

Today’s creative project was to attempt to make a 3d basketball card. I met a guy that does 3d Pokemon so thought I’d give it a shot. It has 7 cards (4 layers and 3 spacers). Kinda rough but don’t have great tools yet. What do you think?

Ripped the 6 Select football blasters I was lucky to get from Target online. Video to come of first 3, this is order 2. Bunch of rookies/inserts/parallels, including a “bonus” silver, Puka parallel, JSN /99 and Olave /499. Order 1 was much better, couple big hits

Well got these three in a row. Rachaad White zebra, Gibbs club level, and a Levis silver. On the good side I guess this was a rip to build the set, and with the other few packs and blasters I’ve opened I was able to do that. So not a complete loss!

I have 4 row boxes - 1 for football, 1 for basketball. $1 cards in card savers. $2 cards in card saver with a colored sticker. $3 cards in top loader. Then $5-20ish cards are priced. $20+ cards on the table and rotate in new ones as others sell. Be willing to sell 80-85% comps.

Honest opinions: would this Bijan Robinson Optic Downtown grade as a PSA 10? I’m still fairly new to this and have sent some cards in for grading but haven’t got them back and don’t really know what to look for to determine what’s a 10 vs a 9 or 8…. Help?

Well I’m having trouble with the video. Here are the big hits - a CJ Stroud silver die cut, and Devon Witherspoon green Club level /5! A beautiful color match with the Seahawks jersey. My lowest numbered card I’ve pulled this year. Real happy with these blasters!

Before you send that DM to someone cussing at them for not giving you a price on a card (really????) after they told you they don’t know how to price it and asked for an offer, realize that some of us have families, full time jobs, and other hobbies. This is supposed to be fun.
