Another Whatnot controversy… In this video, a WhatNot user is seen opening a re-sealed pack, which quickly raised concerns among buyers. The issue became apparent when one of the cards inside was found to have Sharpie writing on it. The seller later apologized, explaining that the marked card was part of an inside joke and that the re-sealed pack was never meant to be included in the break. Last year, US Customs destroyed an original sealed & graded copy of Pokemon Yellow for Game Boy. They broke the acrylic holder, ripped and threw out the seal, and sliced the front of the box off. Presumably, they were looking for contraband. Instead, they found a brand new Pokemon Yellow cartridge. This game *was* worth about $3,000. It is also rumored that this happened with an original copy of Resident Evil for PS1, which could've been worth over $250,000!
