One of my biggest issues with the new #mtg #mtgcommander banlist is the implication that longer games are inherently more fun. I play cEDH and casual and I think short games can be really fun and cool, just as much as long ones. I don't like what's fun being dictated at me.

@germangaryoak @ibw23 @TierZoo @mtgcommander I mean one could argue the guys brining crypts and jlos to low power tables are assholes too so it is a consistent idea at least. For cEDH the way to get a card banned is to make casual players hate it.

@mtgcommander I guess the good that come from this is that cedh might finally get it's own RC. Since the regular RC',a ambivalence towards cedh is proving untenable

@CardQueenEileen Magic IS turing complete in fairness. Doesn't make you inherently smart or better just because you play mtg but it IS in theory more complicated. That doesn't translate to the reality of gameplay really but it's neat and worth noting
