Everyone in policing should be given the leadership training and development they need so they are fully equipped to solve more crimes, keep people safe and call out internal bad behaviour. I hope colleagues across the service will support the College’s work on this new approach.

Crimes committed by police officers and staff exposed over recent months are compounded by the fact some of them flew under the radar as opportunities to detect them were missed. That's why @CollegeofPolice has developed a new vetting Code of Practice.
