The first time #Severe #AirPollution shut down Delhi schools was in 2016. Seven years later schools are still being shut down by pollution! I write on how there seem to be no lessons learnt. and whether #GRAP, the big anti pollution plan, is really effective

@streetfrontier Useful but is it midnight in all the geographies shown (ie a composite map) or just India? Because the night pollution is usually higher (really poor quality) at this time of the year anyway.

@manishanataraj @BJP4India At the very least it'll be harder to pass the buck now. Good thing is that the central/state govts all have the solutions and resources to deliver clean(er) air quality. All that's missing is political will.

@ShekharGupta Nope, false. The BJP has had a chance to cut air pollution through CAQM as well as its govts in neighbouring states, and a chance to clear the garbage mountains when it controlled the MCD. And Gurgaon, Noida, Ghaziabad hv many ‘quality of life’ problems.
