@prchovanec One of the fundamental principles of the Conventions is that one party’s compliance is not conditional on reciprocity by other parties. In this case, Hamas is contravening the Article 51(7) prohibition on human shields. the IDF is still required to use force carefully. It is not.

My wife’s application for Canadian citizenship was delayed through 2021 so that refugees who escaped Kabul could have their applications processed first. I have to say, this makes me quite proud to be a Canadian. Our needs are not urgent.

@vanOnselenP Also, for something to be a "witch hunt" there usually has to be some form of punishment. In this case, the reason why Australians find @TamePunk so compelling is because there usually isn't any. This is also why "social media mobs" exist. Vigilantism is a response to a lack.

This, from an @RT_com columnist, is a veiled war crime threat (and potentially an incitement). Franc-tireur is an archaic concept that predates the Fourth Geneva Convention. Unlawful combatants are still entitled to a domestic criminal trial. This is dangerous rhetoric.
