The power & control that game platforms fight for is scary, and things need to change if the games industry is going to continue growing. People are not making enough noise about this (minus @TimSweeneyEpic) so lets change that. Thanks @spadgy_OTA for co-writing this with me 🙌
Game platforms have evolved. Power & control are more important as platforms become walled gardens controlling player-dev relationships. We want a world where platforms are open, for #gamedev and publishers to sell and distribute games their way.

Sony finally realized that if they're going to own their player relationship on Steam they need to at LEAST dangle a 🥕 in front of players. This is a good step forward since the Helldivers screw-up.
