hello, FYI lang no. We health workers practice utmost biosafety in our workplaces. Before we leave our stations we do decontamination, kaya di nyo kailangang ipakita pandidiri nyo sa amin pag nasa public places or transpo kami.
Baka nga mas marumi ka pa eh. 😌
Sana pala Bacteriology, Parasitology, Clinical Chemistry yung mga pinagbabasa ko nung highschool hindi yung Wattpad na yan.
Edi sana kinikilig din ako pag nagte-test for bacteria o kaya pag nagse-smear ng tae or pag kabisado mo by heart ang Order of Draw and additives.
Nga pala, there's no such a thing as "di ka para sa kursong to". That's bullshit.
Pag sinabi sayo ng iba yan, ignore them fuckers. Ikaw ang magde-decide whether you're really "fit" for it or not.
"Pag medtech ka dapat expert ka sa extraction."
I see nothing wrong with medtechs who aren't that great in phlebotomy. Hindi naman tayo forever na taga-kuha lang ng dugo, we also have a path in microbiology, and clinical microscopy.
I waited quite a long time for this glow up. We made it to one of our finish lines! Congratulations OLFU-QC College of Medical Laboratory Science batch 2020 for enduring all the hardships since the day we chose to save lives!
Also, happy birthday to me. ☺️
Tip for pre-bacte students (and to those who'll study it again):
DON'T USE THE COMPILED NOTES OF DEAN RODRIGUEZ. Pang board lang yan, as much as possible read the reference books (Bailey and Scott, Mahon, Henry).

Hi there, Yeng!
Sorry, kasalanan pa ng "med people" na 'yon kung bakit pangit (sa tingin mo) yung naging pag pag-handle nila sa case ng asawa mo. Rural hospitals aren't like Makati Med, The Medical City, etc. where fundings and doctor-to-patient ratio are enough.
In Med, you have the edge sa biochemistry, Parasitology/Bacteriology, diagnoses, Immunology, Hematology. Those subjects are considered to be one of the heaviest. Syempre keep up ka na lang sa PTs when it comes to anatomy, Pharma, in pharmacology and Nurses when it comes to care.
@teddyboylocsin
Uhm, Boomer, don't spread stupidity allover Twitter. Med practitioners are giving it their all against multidrug resistance tapos magkakalat ka ng ganyang info?
FLU IS NOT CAUSED BY BACTERIA THUS THE NEED FOR ANTIBIOTICS ISN'T NECESSARY.
Well, true pa rin naman.
Coronavirus family (Coronaviridae) is an enveloped non-segmented positive sense RNA virus that primarily causes mild upper respiratory infection such as common colds.
Since it is an enveloped virus, it is more likely to be "active" in cold vs warm area.
FBS.
We want to test the patient's Insulin activity by allowing the patient to fast and let the body utilize its glycogen, giving us an insight whether the patient is diabetic or not.
@easy_jonathan
Is it just me or it could really be great design for the PGH? Imagine that breathable design! The patients and the health providers alike will surely benefit from it! :(
Hugs to all of us who're getting by. Hugs to all of you who are mustering all their strength to keep things together. Better days are upon us, kapit lang.
