My bill will allow state and federal prisons to use cellphone jamming technology to stop them.
Kirkland CI held the second “Father’s Voice” program today. The inmates record themselves reading children’s books which are then sent home to their children. Former SC GOV Dick Riley of the

now offers backpacks to inmates to carry their personal property when leaving prison. Previously inmates were given nylon laundry bags. This has been a longtime goal. We accept new or used backpacks, too! Call (803) 896-1235 for info.
What we found: 32 smart phones, more than 27 pounds of tobacco, more than 5 pounds of marijuana, 33 chargers, 31 USB plugs, 17 sets of Bluetooth earbuds, 47 lighters, a half-gallon of brown liquor and other assorted items of contraband. 2/2
