The best part of student ownership is that I can still differentiate for students when I’m out because they can self-differentiate. Teachers stop managing for students what students can manage themselves! I will be in at Carnegie Hall watching my son perform. ❤️

Teaching is rewarding but demanding—self-care often takes a backseat. I set small boundaries: lunchtime is my time, and I prioritize non-negotiable rest. I don’t check email at home and it’s not on my phone. Balance isn't perfect, but intentional steps helps. #loveSCschools

Austin will be performing with other high school students from around the world at Carnegie Hall in February!! We are so proud! Shout out to @CloverEagles for their amazing music program and helping him develop into the talented, hard working musician that he is. ☘️❤️

The whole way down we talked about ways we haven’t prepared our kids for adulthood. Keys. We haven’t taught them how to use keys to unlock a door. We did our best, good luck! So proud of her!
