What a lovely surprise from our Year 1 parents this morning - they arrived as Mrs Doodson was about to do a staff briefing, to drop in bags of goodies for staff, "a coronavirus survival pack" as a random act of kindness.

We did it! We have just been awarded a
@HfLWellbeing
quality mark, following a half day visit from a well-being adviser. We had to demonstrate & evidence our commitment to well-being through the whole school culture, environment and across the curriculum.

We received a lovely delivery from the Reception Families today. Thank you all so much! We are missing you too and this definitely brightened our day. It will be shared out with staff who are coming into school on a rota basis.

A small, but dynamic group of volunteers & staff worked miracles at school today; the picket fencing is as good as new, sandpit cleared, gardens, courtyards & stock cupboards transformed - thank you ALL for your help and thanks David for mobilising a crack team of Y2 Dads!

What a morning! At assembly we were all treated to a hilarious staff panto, "Jack and the Beanstalk" and then a funny, but emotional farewell to the irreplaceable Mr Wheeler, including a film of his "best bits" by Mr Griffiths. Not a dry eye in the house!

On Monday our Nursery children had a Home Learning Forest School challenge to go for a walk and collect all the colours of the rainbow in nature. We think that they were brilliant colour collectors? Mrs Berry has used their photographs to make a collaborative picture

We are very proud of the 5 girls from Year 3 who held a bake sale after school today. They wanted to raise money to help Ukrainian children and to help animals. They raised over £240 for their chosen charities -

We've been awarded our first Eco Schools Award! Well done to the pupils in the Eco Team who have created an action plan based on 3 areas; healthy living, litter and waste.
