@Docroddy I do not think so. A little more unlikely than that

@dave_dlt This is a good answer, though not the correct answer - at least according to the mark scheme. Interestingly, my good friend ChatGPT agrees with you... so perhaps the wording of the question needed a little more clarity.

@MattBecker82 Nice, and thank you. Your method is broadly similar to mine inc compound tan formulae. One pupil at school solved it a cool way by finding perpendicular vectors a = OD and 7b =DC on your diagram. Solve and scale.

I have great memories of riding the World 24 in Borrego Springs, way back in 2019. Such an adventure and such a stunning place to race. It's going to be super interesting to see how Lee and Chris get on tonight.

My good friends Lee Williams and Chris Murray are competing in the World 24 Time Trial champs in Borrego Springs, starting at midnight UK time. They are both classy riders and both have a cracking chance of a good result. Follow their progress here:

@MattBecker82 This is correct - perhaps written with the powers of x in instead of f(x).

@FO6DC4 Nope, you're looking for a function of x
