You know twitter snob, anytime someone calls attention to indie games being superior to most AAA games, it ultimately still undermines indies as a whole by implying that they’re inherently lesser titles and not the status quo.
The blame is almost entirely on Sonic Team's incompetence of basically doing the most basic things like making the gameplay fun, and focusing on grandiose ambitions to reinvent Sonic instead.
