also i have never played zelda for its fuckin riveting story and dialogue but the problem is WHY PUT SO MUCH DIALOGUE IN IF UR NOT GONNA SEASON IT

IDK it’s just oddly not charming dialogue in a game that is otherwise very charming. the music, the sounds, the visuals, basically everything else.

it’s overly safe/neutral about everything. i DARESAY BLAND.

feels like all the characters are just matter-of-factly telling me about the game and it’s a missed opportunity for something playful (cmon it’s NINTENDO). like does this character have opinions on things or a personality? are they just a kid (what do they know)? gimme SOMETHING

the dialogue (even the UI and the tone and everything) feels exactly like totk. and i want it to feel more like mario & luigi or something. like you could make the text go wiggly and accented sometimes and add a bunch of expressiveness to it and make it fun.
