To be able to get this temporary bridge built for the community in such a short timeframe is an incredible feat. @TMRQld RoadTek crews have worked around the clock to make this happen, through some very difficult weather conditions.

The @TMRQld RoadTek crews worked through the night, and will continue to do so, until the Ollera Creek bridge is rebuilt. I stopped by to check on progress early this morning and was impressed by their huge effort in getting this done for the community.

The temporary bridge at Ollera Creek is complete after a huge effort by the Australian Army, including a few of my old mates. Emergency services now have road access into Ingham. We’ll rebuild the bridge crossing at Ollera Creek better than ever to strengthen the Bruce Highway
