Seed crop inspections today on @AGF_Seeds production of Shotgun wheat from @agtbreeding . Agronomically similar to Scepter, mid maturity AH with slight improvements in disease. 5-10% yield improvement vs Scepter in AGT and NVT data. Seed orders being taken now for 2025.

Newton winter barley not as strong as grazing oats for early biomass but very impressive from mid winter onwards for quality and density here. Sowing time is key…needs to be treated similar to dual purpose winter wheats for sowing time IMO. Good disease resistance
