@MartinMurray_Ag @BenmorrisMorris @dyerjonathan If we went biodiesel we'd need at least 80ha of 2t/ha canola for 45 days of our harvest. Will be a return to the old days of growing oats for your work horses. A different way of thinking.

@BenmorrisMorris @dyerjonathan Like to see the model without a generator. I don't think you can feasibly do it. Our 22kW system and batteries can only run our silo fans for 30min. Thinking to charge a harvester, chaser and trucks plus utilities you'd need to set aside a few 100ha for panels.
