It’s disappointing to find footage from movies get cut despite how effect and important they are to the overall story. Even if Batman Forever would still have been seen as too goofy, it would’ve at least have the deep themes present if they kept these scenes in.

What makes Miles great as Spider-Man is that compared to Peter, he’s a bit more down to earth and is very much connected to his community which means that we get to see him doing the small things that are insignificant in the grand scheme of things but go a long way to helping-

This is interesting because this film implies that Hulk isn’t a separate personality but Bruce as this emotionally-raw primal creature. Which makes sense considering what we learn more about Bruce in the MCU (until they just made up whatever Hulk is after a few years)

Something that makes this film really good is the subtle character development from Hulk. He doesn’t talk much, doesn’t open himself up, and acts like he doesn’t care. But he does care, he’s just too afraid to trust anyone again.

You know, this isn’t a bad idea and for the most part it makes scenes for Hulk/Bruce to have this arc end this way.
Too bad the arc was skipped over for a cheap resolution that wasn’t earned and made Bruce into a Kevin Feige approved superhero.
