This may be a caching error on your phone rather than an issue with the download. Try the following:
- Clear cache on your phone
- Clear data/cache on playstore specifically
- Reboot your phone
After your phone boots,download should work!

Even with ads blocked, some websites can still be an eye-sore. Use the Brave Developer build's custom CSS tool and watch them disappear!

Sync remains disabled to avoid consistent crashes caused by the feature. We're working very hard on Sync improvements we hope to have released as soon as possible. There is a flag to re-enable Sync, but be warned that doing so could result in stability/crashing issues

Though not enabled by default, you can easily switch your default search by going to settings -> Search->DDG
Alternatively, you can type ":d" before your search terms to use DDG

Additionally, Shields likely don't have to be down entirely. Try keeping Shields up and adjusting the individual settings. Start by adjusting cookie control settings, then fingerprinting, then ads then scripts. It's likely only 1 of these settings causing trouble.

The latest Brave release (at the time of writing this) is v0.66.100 - go to Menu --> About Brave and ensure that the updater gets initialized and installed. Additionally, the claims you're being notified about may be expired at this time, which is why you're unable to claim them.
