SSNs are stolen and used for tax returns and to collect benefits. It causes significant problems for citizens who fall victim to this identity theft. IRS withholding tax returns for multiple years, needing extra paperwork to prove that you are the owner of the SSN that you’ll need forever.

That’s a reasonable assessment of their stance, but their stance is incorrect. Humans require a pay off for their effort, this is why mass starvation happens in communist systems. The creation of private vs personal property is just mental gymnastics to avoid the ultimate and undeniable truth which is you own nothing under communism, it is all issued by the state which retains ownership of it. The means of production are entirely with the central authority. It creates the slave class and the overlord class.
