Dear Coaches, . Please for the love of god quit giving your athletes loads of junk volume so they think your workout is hard. It’s pointless and dangerous. Manage fatigue and remember the weight room is a supplement to their on field performance. They’re athletes not powerlifters.

Youth athletes are over coached and high school beyond are under coached. We have it backwards and are worried about the wrong things. Let their bodies develop and figure out how their body wants to pattern. Then fine tune the engine.
