The reason that some gyms now charge $250/month is not because their weights are better than the 50/month gym. It’s because they know there’s a market for people who can pay 250 to not be around folks that can only pay 50. This is called “Gym Choice”. If you give everyone a gym voucher for 250, they still aren’t letting 50/month dudes in either, they will just raise the price to 500.
