If you think about it, Thiel was actually a late bloomer. He only cofounded PayPal at 31, cofounded Palantir at 36, invested in Facebook at 37, and launched Founders Fund at 38. People think it’s over when you get to your mid-20s, but it’s not true.

Elon’s reluctance to use Starlink militarily suggests he will not build humanoid robots for the military. Google/Amazon will likely say no too. That gives an opportunity to a robotics startup to completely overhaul and re-arm the US military with millions of robot soldiers.

At first I thought Meta was the real threat to Apple because Meta was trying to replace the iPhone with AR glasses. Now I’ve realized that Apple is in a much worse position than I thought. OpenAI is also going to try to replace the iPhone with an AI companion computing device.

there's no doubt that Elon/Sama/Thiel etc are a zero interest rate phenomena. But it doesn’t matter. What matters is they poured all their money into risky deep tech startups. If we need a web3 bubble and widening wealth gap in order for us to get longevity/AGI, then so be it

i think you reach this conclusion if you assume 3 things: 1) AI delivers on its promise AND 2) TSLA is overvalued in the short-med term AND 3) SpaceX and Neuralink are still 5-10+ years out pretty reasonable assumptions imo

There is huge alpha in being the young calm person. There is a difference between being calm/composed, and being unambitious/low energy. A calm person has a calm mind and they think clearly. Huge asset. It usually takes adults decades to master this.

The more I think about it, the more I realize I need to get absolutely cracked at physics. There is no way around it. The future we are headed towards is going to be scientifically and technologically complex. Physics + CS is the only way. Everything else is too noisy.
