☩ O LORD, my God and my loving Father, enlighten me, guide me, strengthen me, console me. Tell me what I should do; give me your orders. I promise to submit myself to all that you desire of me and to accept all that you permit to happen to me. Only let me know your will. Amen.
Dear friends,
My wife had to undergo emergency surgery this morning. The time of her convalescence will be six weeks. I will be stepping away from my teaching duties and work only reactively as it relates to my pastoral duties.
Thank you for your prayers.
+Seraphim Mary, OSF
I have a special request this upcoming
#Advent
season. I know of no person who is more sinful, vile, or in need of immediate and constant prayer for conversion than the bishop in this picture.
Please pray for him.
I have a special request for the rest of the summer months. I know of no person who is more sinful, vile, or in need of immediate and constant prayer for conversion than the priest in this picture. He serves as a bishop now, and is grossly incompetent.
Please pray for him.
Here is what the media is not telling about
#Djokovic
.
He is a faithful member of the Serbian Orthodox Church. He is being persecuted for his faith in Jesus Christ and for living a life of Christian witness and exercising his conscience.
I stand with Djokovic.
We ask you, Lord, mercifully to pour the abundance of your grace into our hearts as we commemorate the holy virgin Mary, Mother of God, and sanctify our bodies in chastity and our souls in humility and love. Amen.
Any prayer-warriors out there?
My father is quite unwell, he suffers from COPD and is having a significant exacerbation. The doctor is doing all he can, but I have been told that part of this is in God's hands -- that where YOU come in.
My dad's Christian name is Andrew.
Let us pray for Christians of the Ukraine and Russia. May God almighty protect them from the emerging threat of both political and military violence, in Jesus' name we pray. Amen.
@brinkofill
I want you to know that I feel your pain, my father died April 7th and we only had a grave side service with nine people. We still have not been able to have a proper church service and this is neither fair or just - for YOU or me.
Please pray for me and I will pray for you. +sm
One of our deacons, Br. Philip Francis has been badly injured in a car accident. I ask that you kindly pray for God almighty to comfort, heal, and provide his Peace to our brother, whilst providing his guidance to the doctors and medical staff as they work to restore his health.
Please pray for the repose of the soul of my father:
Zbigniew Andrej Gondek
Eternal rest, grant unto him, O LORD,
And let perpetual light shine upon him.
May he rest in peace.
Amen.
I am on a retreat to rejuvenate and will return home on Friday, January 5th. As a result I will only be online intermittently.
Here's the deal—you pray for me, I'll pray for you, and Jesus will make up the difference.
Also send me your prayer requests!
+Seraphim Mary, OSF
On this
#HolocaustRemembranceDay
, I want to remember my great, great uncle is Blessed Krystyn Gondek, OFM. He is one of the 108 Martyrs of WWII. He was arrested by the Gestapo on the feast of Our Lady of Częstochowa in 1940 and died on July 23 1942 in Dachau.
Lord, have mercy.
My dear sister, Sr. Agatha-Ann, OSF wrote me this evening from hospice care to let me know that she is preparing to meet the Lord. Her earnest prayer is that she lives through Christmas for the sake of her family and the burden of her repose.
Please pray for this intention. +sm
Many Roman Catholics and Anglicans know next to nothing about Our Lady of Walsingham. She is older than Lourdes, older than Fatima, and an important part of our future unity.
Read more about her here.👇
Can I tell my Roman Catholic followers specifically, and those in other Communions generally, a secret?
The Adventide and our current Christmastide season are very tough on priests. Their work is laborious and very isolating.
Please be kind and reach out thankfully to them. +sm
Today I was elected Minister General of the Franciscan Order of the Divine Compassion. I solemnly begin this ministry, walking in the footsteps of St. Francis.
I thank you, my beloved Brothers in the Episcopate.
Thank you, Priests.
To you, Sisters and Brothers, I give my thanks.
GOD BLESS the over 14000 people who follow my account! It is my goal is to draw all souls close to Jesus, to promote the faith in Christ's Church, and tweet incessantly about Franciscan spirituality and prayer.
Thank you for being here. +sm
I would be remiss if I didn't say that I am saddened that 61 followers chose to unfollow me simply because I am a married Anglican bishop who requested prayers for his wife.
It begs the question, why did they follow me in the first place?
Lord God, whose blessed Son our Saviour gave his body to be whipped and his face to be spit upon: Give us grace to accept joyfully our sufferings, confident of the glory that shall be revealed; we ask this in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
I have a special request this Holy Saturday. I know of no person who is more sinful, vile, or in need of immediate and constant prayer for conversion than the bishop in this picture.
Please pray for him.
Please pray for me tonight.
More than a couple confused souls are hammering me hard on social media, both publicly and privately, over my recent tweets. I feel really sad for the darkness that they seek to sow into
#CatholicTwitter
specifically, and Twitter generally.
Bless, O Lord, the friars in these latter days; and grant that, serving in humility, love and joy, they may draw many souls to follow you, who was lifted up upon the Cross to be the Saviour of sinners; who now lives and reigns, God, world without end. Amen.
We ask you, Lord, mercifully to pour the abundance of your grace into our hearts as we commemorate the holy virgin Mary, Mother of God, and sanctify our bodies in chastity and our souls in humility and love. Amen.
Please pray for the conversion of the misguided people who broke into my classroom on Thursday night. They stole a number of religious and devotional items, destroyed a full sized liturgical Bible, and caused considerable heartache amongst the educators with whom I work. +sm
Dear friends,
Praise be to Jesus Christ!
My beloved wife was released to home care yesterday and I will remain her caregiver during the next stage of her recovery. We earnestly thank you for your continued prayers and thoughtful good wishes.

The fleur-dis-lis is a Catholic symbol borrowed by New Orleans. It is more often associated with Saint Joseph and the Blessed Virgin Mary as a sign of their purity.
Bottom line: The fleur-dis-lis symbol evangelizes to Christ, whether the Vatican communications knows it or not.

Friends,
Two days ago I asked you to pray for my brother, Philip Francis who had been in a car accident. His condition is stable, and they currently are running tests on him. He is expected to remain in the hospital for several days.
Thank you for your continued prayers. +sm
Today I celebrate one year since my consecration to the Order of Bishop. To everyone here who enjoys my tiny contribution in the Lord's vineyard, I thank you. Please pray an Our Father, Hail Mary, & a Glory Be for Church Unity.
With all my affection, I bless you,

This photograph came across my desk today. In spite of C-19 church closures Christ's victory over sin and death continues to be celebrated.

Sodom and Gomorrah is trending, let us take a moment to recognize their four primary Biblical sins: Pride, sexual immorality, in-hospitality, and cruelty. Let us also be optimistic, there is hope for all humanity because God has provided a way of salvation. (see 2 Peter 3:9)
In charity, I ask that you please say an Our Father, Hail Mary, and Glory be for the repose of the soul of:
Father Andrew Luke, OSF
He fell asleep in the Lord last night, having served faithfully as a priest in the Lord's Vineyard for over fifty years.
Let us pray for the lives of the unborn and the elderly. That we may become a society that embraces frail humanity and protects life from conception to natural death.
My Jesus, I believe that Thou art present in the Blessed Sacrament. I love Thee above all things. Since I cannot now receive Thee sacramentally, come spiritually into my heart. I embrace Thee and unite myself wholly to Thee; permit not that I should ever be separated from Thee.
We ask you, Lord, mercifully to pour the abundance of your grace into our hearts as we commemorate the holy virgin Mary, Mother of God, and sanctify our bodies in chastity and our souls in humility and love. Amen.
Christmas can never be cancelled. The devil can't do it, C-19 can't do it, secular technocrats can't do it, and politicians can't do it.
The Commemoration of the Nativity of Our Lord will happen in 6 days.
We ask you, Lord, mercifully to pour the abundance of your grace into our hearts as we commemorate the holy virgin Mary, Mother of God, and sanctify our bodies in chastity and our souls in humility and love. Amen.

Please pray for me.
My office is a source of great joy, and, at times, it's load is quite a heavy burden. I take counsel from my beloved father, Francis of Assisi who has taught me to "be patient in trials, watchful in prayer, and never cease working."

Pray, O holy mother of God, for the conversion of our beloved country, restoration of the sick, consolation for the afflicted, repentance of sinners, peace to the departed. Amen.
O blessed Mary, Mother of God, our Lady of Walsingham, intercede for us.
Let us pray for the repose of the soul of our teacher and brother Pope Benedict XVI.
May the souls of the faithful through the mercy of God rest in peace, and may light perpetual shine upon them forever. Amen.
Please pray for LB.
I have spent the last few weeks ministering to her family, and sadly, it looks like she will be euthanized with the support of her children and the Canadian government this Wednesday.
Life begins at conception and ends at natural death. +sm
Dear friends,
I was able to visit my father today and perform 'Unction of the Sick'. At this time his situation remain touch and go and remains largely in the Lord's hands.
Your continued prayers are appreciated.
Peace and all-Goodness,
+Seraphim Mary
I emptied my father's home today and it was a wildly mystical experience. It is amazing to me that such a life lived can be reduced to so little when it comes to material items. In the end: 1 book about JPII, 3 guitars, 14 original songs, and an icon of Our Lady of Częstochowa.
Pray, O holy Mother of God, for the conversion of our beloved country, restoration of the sick, consolation for the afflicted, repentance of sinners, and peace to the departed. Amen.
