The earlier #BowelCancer is spotted, the more treatable it's likely to be. Having symptoms, doesn't always mean you have the disease. But it's still important to find out what's causing them. Ask your GP for an at-home test. Find out more here: #ClearOnCancer #HelpUsHelpYou

Earlier this month, our team and a member of our community Andrea, were lucky enough to visit the #Hollyoaks set. We’ve supported the team at Hollyoaks as they’ve developed a bowel cancer storyline for their iconic character, Mercedes McQueen. Andrea met and spoke with Jen Metcalfe, the actor who plays Mercedes and we were shown behind the scenes of their well-known sets. Read more about this fantastic day and our work with the Hollyoaks team:

@JoshReynoldsSL6 Thank you for your support. We're so grateful to yourself and all the MPs who signed this letter. Bowel cancer screening helps spot the disease before symptoms start, when it's more treatable. By improving the sensitivity threshold thousands of lives could be saved.

We're so grateful to all the MPs who signed this letter to call on the Secretary of State for Health and Social Care to commit to lowering the #BowelCancer screening sensitivity threshold. The latest report from @bowelcanceruk shows that progress on early diagnosis of the disease has stagnated. That's why I, alongside other MPs, have sent a letter to the Secretary of State for Health, asking him to commit to optimising the Bowel Cancer Screening Programme.
