Earlier today @somfdlocal76 responded to the Holiday Inn on Washington St for initially a fire alarm. As more information became available the assignment was filled out, and ultimately a 2nd alarm was ordered when heavy smoke was found on the 9th floor with reported people trapped. Firefighters assisted multiple occupants from the fire floor, EMS transported at least two victims to area hospitals. Crews quickly extinguished the fire, containing most of the damage to one room. Firefighters ventilated the 9th floor and helped hotel guests retrieve belongings.

Yesterday afternoon @somfdlocal76 responded to a fire on Ossipee Rd. Initially reported as a bedroom fire, on arrival crews had smoke and fire showing and a Working Fire was ordered. Thanks to the quick efforts of firefighters most of the damage was contained to the initial fire building, with minor extension to another.

Yesterday @CambridgeMAFire responded to a building fire on Broadway. Initially, crews were unable to locate the seat of the fire, and a working fire was ordered, and followed shortly by the 2nd and 3rd alarms. Thanks to an aggressive interior attack by firefighters the fire was kept from spreading throughout the building.

Yesterday afternoon @CambridgeMAFire responded to a house fire on Francis Ave, on arrival, companies had heavy smoke showing and a working fire was ordered. An elderly person was assisted from the house and treated by EMS. Companies faced stubborn fire in the attic with limited access and a 2nd alarm was ordered, with fire ventilating out of the roof in multiple locations. After about three hours the fire was mostly extinguished, and crews did extensive overhaul in the attic space.
