This reminds me of an old Soviet joke. Early 1960s. A writer and a farmer on a train. Vodka, chicken, frank talks: the usual stuff of Soviet long distance trains. The farmer: "You writers are lucky. At least Comrade Khrushchev understands literature."
Trump just terminated the Chair of the Kennedy Center and has installed himself as the new chair. He says he will now be dictating the institution’s “art and culture” and says it “must reflect” what he chooses.
