We demonstrate its functionality by pulling out alleles of a highly polymorphic gene (S-RNase) and a viral (#CVX) sequence from a low-coverage metatranscriptome. Both from single-pistil RNAseq of @JoeySantore's pet #cactus (Schlumbergera truncata). The future is now! [3/3]

@lmillernpr If the sumpin you seek is science-related activities: (1) driving on collecting trips, (2) doing other slightly inattention-possible work, planting or counting seeds, and measuring simple traits. IMO, Radiolab too mind-occupying or entertaining for writing code or pipetting.
