@JonahVirtanen The grounded one only punishes if you have fire stocks. In this scenario I didn’t have any fire stocks so only the tiger knee version would punish. Hence the reason I used it.

Pure genius. Damascus could have gone for the simple chip. However Damascus is a cunning fox and was thinking 5 steps ahead. He could sense the mashing and made Akuma burn two bars of his super. His super meter may be reduced but his mental meter is in tatters. Genius.
