Apparently a team has been training on our pitch this morning. We have been told that it is a local U7’s team. 1 its private property. 2 it is against government and FA guidelines and doesn’t help the the wonderful nurses & doctors of our NHS in fighting Coronavirus.
Great News !! Thanks to a grant from the Football Foundation we can now sort out our drainage problems on the 2nd pitch which will let our women’s team have their home at the Country Ground and hopefully get some small sided junior matches on it as well.
Derek G Talbot has sadly passed away. Derek's Club history include :- Player and Captain,Club Secretary,Co-ordinator for Four Teams,Trustee,Life Time Vice President of the Lancashire Amateur F.L and holder of a FA 30 yrs Long Service to Amateur Football. He will be sadly missed.
A huge thank you and well done to Chelsea who reffed her first ever match today👏🏼After only qualifying as a referee yesterday 🙌🏼
Absolutely fantastic performance. You definitely have a bright future ahead of you!

Our Vipers played at the National U14’s Futsal Finals. They were placed in group A with 5 other teams which they won. They were beaten in the semifinals by Oxford Futsal Club who won the event. They managed 3rd place and were the only grass roots team there. WELL DONE LADS.
Today we should have been celebrating Graham Tyldsley’s 30 years of service to our club but unfortunately due to Covid we couldn’t.He has been manager, chairman, grounds man & is currently president. We have named part of the ground after him in honour of his service.

We have now had contact with the alleged club and they are looking into it. We thank them for getting in touch with us and both clubs are hoping to get to the bottom of this. We are both not sure if this club has been named to deflect who it really was.
It’s with great sadness that we announce that our number one dog fan Tinks passed away on the 28th June. He was a much loved mascot for our open age women’s team. It won’t be the same without him at the matches proudly wearing his County coat 😢our thoughts go to Becci
It was one of those weekend's
Stockport Georgians 2 - County 1
County Res 0 - Stockport Georgians Res 1
County Women 0 - Fleetwood Town Wrens Dev 2
In the words of Jimmy Bullard "Football's always the winner"
Massive shout out to Luke who was mascot at both the Res&Womens matches
