Not only do they not want pros to play this champion, they want NO ONE playing him. Gutting his attack speed, soldier dmg, mana, and W CD AGAIN LMFAO. It’s ok they buff E and R dmg were even more of a melee engage suicide champ now. XD
Balance team are enormous Fools for this.
Azir nerfs:

Azir soldiers feel horrible and boring without the attack speed, feels like he lost too much DPS in mid-late game. He struggles a lot more now killing any kind of bruiser/tank champ or mages that have a lot of HP in their kit. He needs more ap scaling on W or more attack speed.

Azir needs buffs. Worst champ in the game in solo q next to corki and ryze thanks to balancing around pro play. I've OTP'd Azir since his release in 2014 and he's never felt this frustrating to play.

Hi all, I've got an Azir changelist you'll see hitting PBE with today's deploy! Back when Arena first came out it quickly became apparent that soldier's not interacting with on-hits was stifling what could be a lot of fun builds for him and trapping players who didn't know.

Holy… why nerf a late game champs dmg when his early game is so unplayable in solo q? If his late game needs nerfs he really needs his +10dmg back per lvl on soldiers. It’s really unfair to have Azir nerfed over pro presence when he doesn’t even have a spectacular winrate

I'm in love with the Aurelion Sol rework and really excited for him to come out on live servers. I haven’t had this much fun playing League in a long time. I'm gonna main him over Azir if balance team doesn't gut his dmg as well 🤞

This bug has existed since March 2021. Guess it’s an intended feature at this point 🥱
In Game 3 of Worlds Finals between SKT and DRX, Faker got hit by the Azir R bug. Twice in that 1 game.
If Azir R hits enemies while he is dead, the ult simply does nothing (no damage, no CC).
This bug has been regularly happening in pro play in the recent years.

Can Azir get 5-10 more dmg on W per level or more attack speed? He's lost a ton of dmg and attack speed over the years from nerfs and from the lethal tempo change and has insanely long cooldowns while not really being able to stack much ability haste without losing out on damage

Thank god they revert the W dmg and attack speed nerf for Azir that would have gutted what little dmg this champ has left. E and R buff staying are really nice, seems worth to go for big dive plays more often
Additional context for a few more complicated changes;
Azir is moving power out of early lane and into E/R, Riven changes make her better at splitpushing, pulled some of the sustain changes for next patch & nerfs to snowballing of XP and an adjustment to Supp melee vs range

Consider Azir buffs and fixing bug where soldiers don’t stack tear anymore. Item rework nerfed azir into a baby chicken. 🐣 I’ve one tricked this champ for 5 years and he has never felt this bad to play.

Azir E Q stutter/teleport bug during drift is as common as its ever been this season. Makes it hard to tell where the champ is when wanting to use R for plays. It use to happen every now and then but now its at least once per game.

Rito pls buff Azir...I'd do anything to have the W 10 dmg nerf reverted, the early game nerf makes him feel so awful to play in solo q when games are decided so early. Nashors gutted, new mage items are ass, Azir is the weakest he's ever been, while STILL having so many bugs...

Azir is still waiting for his Ult bug to be fixed thats been happening since the beginning of March. If Azir ult casts before dying, there's no knock back or damage, and goes on cooldown. +Items w dash actives like stridebreaker can ignore the cc from R??
