@josemorgado Well Emma did tell everyone she “thrives” in Asia… clearly her version of thriving is collecting 1R wildcard cheques

@ReemAbulleil Can’t comment on who’s right/wrong in this case bit it’s a bit more complex than “player is always right”. People in abusive/inappropriate situations often won’t recognise/acknowledge it, particularly with the power/age imbalance and potential for grooming.

@Mullser @the_traitors_ Don’t really see how he is “the reason they won”. Only really good assertion he had was catching linda’s headturn (somewhat fortunately) and she hadn’t s notion of winning anyways. Leanne anf Jake sould hsve voted out everyone else who msde the final anyways.

@Roryshannon @gavreilly Public money isn’t generally allocated to use based on source… would be a pointless exercise unless you’re ringfencing a specific tax/charge to cover something. Just goes into the budget to be spent.

@crazyhouseprice Anyone telling you if’s only Ireland is clueless. Italy elected Berlusconi to lead the country several times, and was changing laws to defeat all the criminal cases against him. Chirac had any number of corruption scandals as mayor of Paris and became president.

@PunishedMasi @josemorgado Talking about how he lost in straight sets without creating a single break point? Yeah, absolutely the real winner….

@josephfuller200 @kanzler1florian @Hank_Braak @JustJaneDoe5 @LAPUTAPANCHIKO Missing the point completely, Silk Road was a black market darknet forum explicitly intending to facilitate sakes not being traceable. That isn’t like a standard sales platform (which will generally have rules of conduct and compliance with laws).

@why_sophie_why That’s not what’s relevant. She’s on their property and wearing their uniform. Similarly, if I had my employers name in my profile and posted some racist shit or whatevrr, they’d have grounds for dismissal. You’re dragging your employer into it by wearing their uniform.

@FinnWhiteGPEW @si_rubinstein I say this as an Irish person… it is absolutely idiotic to say you can’t make jokes aboyt someone from the 1600s in that sort of context. Similarly, if someone got angry over a joke about Genghis Khan or Hernan Cortes… I would think they’re deranged. It’s meant to be a fun pod.

@josemorgado Sure, coming through these 5-set matches is a good mental test, but having to go 5 sets against the likes of Navone on a hardcourt is not really a great indicator.

@hft_trading1988 @ligozh @rsilver_22 @josemorgado I’m afraid you’ve been misled if you think most “normal” Russians are against the war. Even if a lot of people aren’t too happy with the side-effects fragging on, they broadly side with the war objectives and certainly don’t “hate the invadion”.

@tbald101 Including commercial property in your number seems incredibly disingenuous and weird… ate you trying to spin multinational companies investing in offices here as bad??

@BGLON87 @AnnaK_4ever To me, it feels like he wasted some of the years where he could have had the fitness to be near the top. He really showed some great focus and tennis over the last year or two, but his body just isn’t able for it, particularly best of 5.

@Dylyano @manchester__vo Meaningless drivel… the NHS employ 1.5 million people in England alone. Paying “hundreds of NHS workers” is a meaningless number in the context of public spending. You clearly have no concept of these numbers.

@Padraiccleary @gavreilly Impossible to remove any external influence. In any case, Musk’s interference is far more direct and toxic. He is using his platform to personally advocate for parties in other countries, and to slander politicians he doesn’t like.

@PidgeonGuy882 @jeromekurtiss @thejournal_ie Fucks sake… using Grok as a source which cites “posts found on X”. You’re source is literally shite posted on X by you and your mates

@CourierClicks @akhivae @AdrianPocea That is entirely separate. Everyone (Irish gov included) knows Irish GDP is distorted significantly by cashflows that aren’t actually linked to Irish production or income. That’s not what explains US GDP vs typical European GDP.

@Toibin1 A weather warning is not about how “abnormal” a weather event is… that’s a ridiculous interpretation. Hurricanes are “normal” in hurricane season in the Caribbean… should there be no warning? You’re saying people should take care but then criticising an alert saying same.

@BriannaWu American’s are crazy… “walking 10 monutes to the metro” as a negative, like how are you not going to be obese and unhealthy if you view a 10 minute walk as a chore? You should be doing thousands of steps a day, a 10 minute walk is a small contribution to that.
